We shipped several updates over the past few days that make TeachersFlow more transparent and convenient — both for you and your students.
Telegram Connection Status for Students
You can now see whether each student is connected to the bot at a glance:
- Connected (green checkmark) — the student has started the bot and will receive lesson reminders and payment requests.
- Pending (orange clock) — you added their Telegram username, but they haven't started the bot yet. Send them the invite link!
- Disconnected (gray icon) — no Telegram username set. Add it in the student's profile.
The status appears in both the student list and the edit page. You'll immediately know who's receiving notifications and who needs a nudge.
Balance Info in Cancellation Notifications
Previously, when you cancelled a lesson, the student only got a message saying the lesson was cancelled. Now they also see what happened with their balance:
- "Your balance has not been affected" — for upcoming lessons where no charge was made.
- "1 lesson has been deducted from your balance" — if the lesson was marked as completed.
- "1 lesson has been returned to your balance" — if you issued a refund.
No more back-and-forth messages about money — everything is clear right away.
